Start your day with off with a peaceful massage or a soothing bubble bath as you feel your heart is going to burst with joy and happiness. However you choose to pamper yourself, this is your day after all, enjoy every minute of it.
Plan a Date Night With Your Man
Take some time away from wedding planning together and make it a priority to get some date nights in. They don’t have to be extravagant or anything, but it’s so important to spend time together with your man! Often times with all the “busyiness” of planning, you and can unknowingly neglect the most important person in your life and what this wedding is all about. Have fun together and soak it all in. Get excited together!
Delegate, Delegate, Delegate
Delegating is one great way to relieve yourself from wedding planning stress. That’s why you have bridesmaids! Don’t be afraid to put them to use when you need to. Have them help with DIY’s, calling around places, and even running small errands. They’re your girls for a reason. They love you and want to help you! Let them.
Start Your Morning with Something to Eat
Brides typically become extra aware of what they’re consuming leading up to the wedding and sometimes which can lead to becoming unhealthy. If you’re not getting the proper nutrition that you need, you’re not only putting your health at risk but you’re also setting yourself up for more stress. When you’re eating well and staying hydrated, your body is happy and healthy. Nothing is worse that a bride that is “hangry”. Starting your day with a healthy breakfast will not only be easy on the stomach but will also help settle any butterflies you’re feeling. Many times brides will feel nervous on their wedding day, and might not want to eat, but eating has a significant impact on your mood. Avoid fatty or greasy and choose things like fresh fruit or yogurt and granola.
Play some Relaxing Tunes
We recommend making a playlist of your favorite tunes to listen to throughout the day. Whether it’s an upbeat music to jam to or a relaxing instrumental, as long as make you feel calm and you can unwind.
Get Moving!
Whether it’s going for a jog or practicing your dance moves, it’s important to get moving. As Elle Woods from Legally Blonde would say, “Exercise gives you endorphins; endorphins make you happy, happy people just don’t shoot their husbands!” So get up and going to get those happy endorphins flowing!
Soothing Your Senses
Bring your favorite scented candle, essential oils and your diffuser as you get ready for your special day. The power of smell is a strong one so while your eyes are closed as you get your makeup done, take a deep breath and soak in your favorite blend or lavender scents and think of the man of your dreams waiting for you at the end of the aisle.
